Cedar groves and fern banks abound in the eighty acres that we own adjacent to the cottage property. This area is memorable, and even has a couple of bald eagle nests that are in easy viewing range.

East Point Regional Park East Point Regional Park

Next door to us is East Point Regional Park which has the best whale watching in the Southern Gulf Islands. Swirling smooth sandstone surrounding the Point adds a delightful texture. A bench takes advantage of a panoramic view of Mt. Baker. Watching vessels cruise by with a backdrop of the San Juan Islands is a delightful pleasure.

Fireplace and Shelter
Stone fireplace and shelter.
On the grounds is a stone fireplace with an adjoining roof sheltering some picnic tables. Adjacent to this is a small play area featuring two swings, a sandbox, and a full length shuffleboard.
